What is SuperRare?
SuperRare considers itself a social network and peer-to-peer marketplace for tokenized digital art (ERC-721) built on Ethereum.
It is defined as a new way of interacting with art, culture and collecting on the Internet.
This NFT art platform was created by Pixura, a project where you can create, track, exchange cryptos and build from scratch a marketplace in minutes.
At SuperRare, you can collect and trade non fungible tokens (NFT), specifically, unique, limited edition digital art canvases.
Evidently, their condition is that each artwork has been created solely by a network artist and has been authenticated as digital collectibles.
One of the most famous contributors to this project has been rapper Rico Nasty, who released her first collectible on March 22 of this year.
His unique NFT features a looping animation that is inspired by the video for his song “OHFR?”. It was made in collaboration with former DreamWorks animator Don Alen II.
