Bitnovo joins the Business Alliance for the Child Vaccine

Today we want to share a message of solidariety and cooperation, announcing that finally Bitnovo joins the Business Alliance for the Child Vaccine, promoted by ‘la Caixa’ Banking Foundation.
According to an ActionAid report: 8,000 children die every day in the world, due to predictable and easily treatable diseases. In Africa, infant mortality is 14 times higher than in developed countries.
Thanks to the collaboration between the Obra Social “la Caixa” and Gavi, the international organization created to improve access to vaccines for children living in the poorest countries of the world, it has been possible to vaccinate millions of children over the past decade, reducing the number of premature deaths.
La Caixa and its Obra Social promote the Business Alliance for Child Vaccine, offering Spanish companies to be part of this solidarity initiative, guaranteeing that their contributions will be used entirely for the vaccine of children, according to its promoters.
Although, compared to the past, we have achieved surprising results that have increased the quality and life expectancy of millions of children.
We will continue to make every effort in the development of the Alliance project, in the hope of achieving the goal that Gavi has set: reaching 300 million children between 2016 and 2020 to prevent 5 to 6 million long-term deaths.
Any company can save the lives of more children.
Our wish is that many more companies will join this important initiative.
